1.Ultra-low leak rates: They can achieve leak rates below 1E-13 atm*cm3/s He.
2. Wide temperature range: They can operate from cryogenic temperatures (below 1.8K) up to high temperatures (specific maximum depends on materials, but can exceed 650°C for some configurations).
3. Reduced seating load: The delta seal design requires less load to achieve sealing compared to regular Helicoflex seals or CF copper gaskets. Some configurations can seal with loads as low as 80 N/mm.
4. Suitable for customized shapes and sizes.
5. Long life expectancy.
6. Can seal on various flange materials including quartz, ceramic, and aluminum flanges.
7. Available in a wide range of sizes, from very small (3.8 mm diameter) up to very large (2000 mm diameter).
8. Can be used in ultra-high purity (UHP) and ultra-high vacuum (UHV) applications.
