Metal C-Ring for Valve Applications
In this case study, we showcase the effectiveness of Sonkit’s metal C-ring seals in valve applications, particularly in
industries requiring high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosion-resistant sealing solutions. Our seals have been
tested and proven to provide superior durability and leakage prevention across a broad range of conditions, from -200°C
to 800°C, and under pressures up to 100MPa.
Sonkit’s metal C-ring seals are designed to meet the challenges of fluid control systems, particularly in environments
with highly corrosive, toxic, or hazardous gases and liquids. These seals are also radiation-resistant, making them
ideal for industries where prolonged exposure to radiation is a concern, such as petrochemical and marine applications.
In 2020, Sonkit developed an externally open metal C-ring made from stainless steel. This design ensures optimal sealing
performance when integrated with butterfly valve seats, improving the overall safety and efficiency of valve systems.
Compared to traditional non-metallic seals, our metal C-ring exhibits superior low-temperature, high-temperature, and
chemical resistance, providing a long-term, reliable solution for industries like petrochemical processing and flow
control.
The case study demonstrates how our advanced sealing solutions enhance the reliability and stability of critical
components in various industrial applications, ensuring minimal maintenance and extended service life.
